A detox diet means that you eat only certain food that will help your body cleanse itself of all the accumulated toxins. The detox diet is very easy to do, but it must be done correctly to avoid doing more harm than good to your body. List of permitted food to detox
Fruits: apple, banana, pear, orange, grapefruit, grapes, pineapple, mango, kiwi, berries, nectarine, peach and melon
Vegetables: carrot, turnip, onion, swede, sprout, peppers, corn, leek, broccoli, cauliflower, salad, tomato, cucumber and mushroom
Beans and Lentils: red kidney, haricot, black eye, pinto and lentils
Fresh Fish: cod, plaice, mackerel, salmon, crab, haddock, tuna, prawns, lemon sole, monk fish
Unsalted Nuts: brazil nuts, peanuts, cashew, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans and walnuts
Oats, potato (all types), unsalted seed, tofu, yoghurt, water and herbal teas.
Meat: red meat, chicken, turkey, pork, etc.
Dairy: Milk, cheese, eggs, cream and butter
Wheat products: bread, croissants, cereals, cakes and pastries
Sugar and Salt
Alcohol, caffeine, tea and soft drinks
